Stegmann and Natasha Lubbe restored an old Osfontein shearing shed in the Karoo to a rustic yet tranquil guesthouse.
Project: Guesthouse
Budget: R38 760
About the readers: The Lubbes restored an old stone building on their farm in Osfontein in the Karoo and turned what was once a shearing shed and later a reservoir into a gorgeous guesthouse. They started in March last year and completed their project before the end of December. They agreed to spend as little as possible and all the glass used for the windows and mirrors was supplied by a friend who owned an aluminium factory.
